Travel to Europe

Need a vacation and want to configure his family, some of the wonders of Europe? Travel to Amsterdam. This little gem of a city is located in the heart of the Netherlands. Is a picturesque place with its cobbled streets along multiple channels. I was fortunate to live in Amsterdam for 2 ½ years while working for United Airlines. I lived in an apartment in the Hotel Pulitzer. And, with the privileges of free flight and Schiphol (Amsterdam Airport) ideally only two hours flight to the cities of Europe, almost all large, I travel a lot.

1) The Anne Frank House is located one block from the Hotel Pulitzer. Intact from the time of his hiding place of Anne Frank, this museum offers a stark reminder of the humble and spartan past atrocities of the Second World War. Here’s an interesting point … after work one day, when I visited the hotel bar, the waiter asked if I noticed something different today on my way home from work.

2) A short train ride from Amsterdam is a small city called Madurodam. It is a city with a precise (and wide) porcelain replica of the city of Amsterdam. Each building, all channels, including an exact replica of Schiphol airport is contained in that block of time “city” response. Nearby, you can visit one of many local porcelain factory.

3) The main seaport is called the port of Amsterdam. Offers and amazing collection of boats, gondolas, oil and the water taxis all co-exist in the large bay. Even my husband joined Guy was surprised to see how structures are built, how “poor” and how long they lasted.

N 24 / 7 shops here. You can search for restaurants hidden bit small, and be prepared to spend some time enjoying food. Rijsttafel Netherlands is a traditional food which is something that is known. In the traditional food rijsttafel, you can choose foods or types of food you want. Not huge portions of food (think tapas), but small portions of several Dutch favorite. Usually, at a reasonable price, and although tourism is usually something going, fun and a wonderful sample of the fine Dutch food. workers not arrogant, useful, they are proud of their city and their country.
